 McMan is a non-profit
organization established in 1975 and has been operating
in Southeast Alberta for over 15 years. We provide care
and services to people whose circumstances have placed
them at risk or disadvantage and strive to provide support
necessary so they can function effectively as members
of their communities. McMan's role, through the establishment of a Foster
and Family Resource Centre, is to recruit, screen, and
train all new foster homes in the region for the Southeast
Alberta Child & Family Services Authority. Programs
and services are offered that assist foster parents
in the care of children and other parents who have significant
struggles with their children.
Mission Statement:
McMan
helps individuals and families develop the skills
and support to function effectively as members
of the community. |

Our Goals
On behalf of the Southeast Alberta Child & Family Services
Authority, McMan invites people who want to develop their
parenting skills to a professional level to help meet a serious
need in the community.
Our mutual goal is to return children to their natural families;
find other permanent families for them if necessary; or prepare
them to live independently, based on the unique situation
of each child.
